Mission
As a part of Electrical Engineering Department of Engineering Faculty of Diponegoro University, Electrical Energy Conversion and Power System laboratory has three significant roles to play as they are:
- Conducting laboratory practices as apart of teaching and educational responsibility to ensure deeper understanding of the student about their subject of lectures.
- Conducting research in field of electrical utilization related to industrial development. Students and lectures are facilitated to conduct research whether as individual research or joint research in the laboratory.
- Conducting society services related to electrical utilization. By this services collaborative program or research are possible to conduct in order to solve the problem within in electrical utilization for residential or industrial application.

About Us
Electrical Energy Conversion and Power System Laboratory formerly was established as integrated laboratory of Electrical Department of UNDIP in year 1983. All the laboratory practice for student who choose electrical power concentration was conducted in the same laboratory within students of electronics concentration in Kampus Pleburan UNDIP (Down town Semarang) . In year 1997 when Electrical Engineering Depertment had to move to the new location in Tembalang (Up town-Semarang), laboratory practices for student of electrical power concentration was conducted for the first time in the separated room as the new laboratory. This was the year when Electrical Energy Conversion and Power System Laboratory become self-laboratory in Electrical Engineering Department. Ir. Karnoto had become the chief of laboratory when it conducted the first laboratory practice in Kampus Tembalang.
Several lecturers have been elected as chief of laboratory since Electrical Energy Conversion and Power System Laboratory was established as self-laboratory. They were
Since 2004 through unanimous election, Ir. Herwawan, Ph. D has become chief of Electrical Energy Conversion and Power System Laboratory.
In the year 2005 the chief of laboratory is Mochammad Facta and the secretary of laboratory is Ir. Abdul syakur, M.Eng
In line with the mission to conduct education, research and social services, the laboratory has several activities regularly conducted. Those are:

Laboratory Practices
In line with the curriculum of
Electrical Department, laboratory provides practices and
services.
There are 10 laboratory practices conducted in a year, three
practices are for general students of electrical department.
Those are:
1. Electrical measurement and instrumentation (Pengukuran Besaran
Listrik)
2. Electrical Circuit (Rangkaian Listrik)
3. Basics of Electrical Energy Conversion (Dasar Konversi Energi
Listrik)
Seven laboratory practices are intended to be conducted for
students in advance level who have already registered and joined
into electrical power concentration. Those laboratory practices
are:

The scopes of works provided by laboratory services are intended
to solve the problem and demand of society. They are:
