Pangeran Diponegoro
The Department of Electrical Engineering has been established for more than 20 years. Its establishment was based on the Director General of Higher Education Decree No. 47/Dikti/Kep/1986 dated September 26th, 1986. However, its history went back in 1983. At that year, the Department of Electrical Engineering was only a field of study as part of the Department of Mathematics under the Faculty of Mathematics and Science. With such a decree, the electrical engineering field had been under the authority of Faculty of Engineering (and it had been changed into a broader coverage - a study program). In 1999, the study program has already changed into department. In addition, the Department of Electrical Engineering has been accredited by The National Accreditation Board - Higher Education (Badan Akreditasi Nasional - Perguruan Tinggi, BAN-PT) with grade A (excellent) in 1998 and in 2003. The development of the Department of Electrical Engineering since its establishment in 1983 signifies some changes in the accepted student every year, number of teaching staff, laboratory equipment, classroom facilities, library and information system. Our students go abroad
| Restiono, the first student went to Eindoven to for1 year Bachelor Program at Fontys University, now, he was working in Eindoven Netherlands for 4 years. And now there’s 4 potential students will go there. Dhani and Diah has finished final Project in Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia, Dhani having project in Robotic Engineering and Diah in Control Engineering. Wike Septi Fadila the winner of ‘Woman in Technology’ Nokia Siemens Network, visited to Nokia Indutries in Finland. This program is to find the best graduate on Electrical Engineering fo woman. |
International Double Degree Programs
- FINAL YEAR BACHELOR PROGRAM leading to DOUBLE DEGREE in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and ICT 2010 – 2011 Bachelor program at Fontys University of Applied Sciences, Eindhoven – the Netherlands www.fontys.edu/ICT and Engineering. Study Programs: Telecommunications, Mechatronics, Robotics, Game Design, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Information Technology . At least 6 semesters at home university and last year at Fontys: 1 semester theory and 1 semester graduation internship in international Dutch companies/industries. Double degree: S1 from Diponegoro University and Bachelor of Engineering from Fontys University.After graduation, there is big opportunity to work as innovative knowledge worker in Dutch companies/industries for several years with income following Dutch standard (+/- 26,000 euro/year gross).First semester: study at Fontys University.Second semester: do your graduation internship at an international Dutch company.After Graduation: will have two degrees: 1 from Fontys and 1 from your home university you can work as an employee for a Dutch company as innovative knowledge engineer for a period of 1 up to 5 year(s). - 1 student have this program Restiono, now he start to work at Eindhoven.
- UTHM Double Degree Programs, for last semester-student from Undip then finishing final project 1 year in Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia, 2 students already back to Undip (and graduate) Diah and Dhani.
- Kyushu Intitute Of Technology - The MOU already signed on December 2009, so the double degree program open for potential canditates (recruitment on Januari 2010).
